Watch Cutthroat Kitchen

Cutthroat Kitchen is a cooking competition television series. The premise of the show involves bringing on a quartet of individuals with culinary training to prepare dishes over the course of three rounds. Each round begins with the contestants being told what to prepare, such as a Philadelphia cheese steak or a fried chicken dinner, then they are given a single minute to raid the show's pantry for ingredients to prepare his or her particular take on the assigned dish.

The "cutthroat" element of the show's name begins after the contestants have claimed their ingredients. While each contestant begins the game with $25,000, the show includes the option of bidding on ways to sabotage competition, such as changing up allowed equipment or even swapping the ingredient baskets of two players.

A judge is called in at the end of each round. This judge is uninformed of any hardships or sabotage inflicted upon the players and renders the verdict of who is to be eliminated during each of the show's three rounds. The final round of the show changes by placing the auction during the cooking section. The winner of the show leaves with only his or her remaining cash.
